The “east-west adjuster” in PV mounting refers to the component of the mounting structure that is used to adjust the orientation or angle of the PV module in the east-west direction. The orientation of the modules is fine-tuned according to the actual terrain or the location of the building in order to maximize sunlight hours and efficiency. In some mountainous or distributed projects, PV arrays may not be oriented completely south, and then east-west adjusting members are needed to fine-tune the angle.
