Short rail is a kind of mounting structure in PV module racking system, usually aluminum alloy profile, the length is shorter than the conventional rail, mainly used for rapid installation of modules or in special installation scenarios to replace the traditional long rail. It is suitable for distributed photovoltaic in the metal roof, corrugated metal roofing system, thinner or special structure of the roof, not suitable for the use of traditional long rails, industrial and commercial roofing quick installation projects

Carrying PV module mounting fixtures: Short rails are mounted on the roof and are used to connect the mid/ end clamps to fix the modules.
Replacing full-length rails to reduce costs: In some system designs, short rails replace traditional long rails, replacing continuous support with point support and reducing the amount of aluminum used.
Adapt to special roof structure: Especially for metal roof, corrugated and other roofs with irregular or point-like stresses, the use of short guide rails is more flexible.
